T M Ravi Raje Urs hails from the royal family of Mysore. He is an Electrical Engineering graduate from the University of Mysore. Soon after his engineering, he started an independent business in construction. He is the Founder and Chairman of Urs Infra Private Limited and the Founder and MD of Manjunatha Electricals in Bengaluru. He has over 3 decades of expertise and experience in the field of the construction business. T M Ravi Raje Urs comes from a family of farmers. They were into dry farming and involved in the cultivation of paddy, wheat and ragi. When he was in college, he would find that his schoolmates from a wealthy background would invariably be those from the coffee growers in Coorg and Chikkamagalur. This made Ravi Raje Urs develop a fascination for coffee farming. This was the origin of his desire to take up coffee cultivation. He fulfilled his dreams when he started Ayra Farms, a coffee estate in Coorg around 15 years ago. His combined know-how of the farming and construction business finds utmost utility in the activities at Ayra Farms.
